Hello. I think I have figured out how to solve B450 tomahawk max audio problems, particularly it being silent. Download the newest audio drivers from here (select driver, your OS, On-Board audio drivers, Realtek HD Universal driver (if you have Windows 10 RS3 or later versions)). Download Realtek Audio Control Panel from the Microsoft store.

If not there, it's the controller that failed. If you find the HD audio controller: Right click it, select Uninstall. If asked, do not choose to delete driver files. Reboot. The driver will reinstall and the audio controller will attempt to re-detect the HD audio device.

E. erpsterc · 5 years ago. The H170 gaming m3 board is a "6th gen Intel" board that originally supports Nahimic 2.x. Nahimic 3 may work on that board when using Realtek UAD 8480 driver from MSI and then downloading Nahimic 3 from the MS store. Need to be using Win10 v1803 (RS4) for Nahimic 3. L. 1. Right click on「My computer」and select「Properties」. 2. Select 「Device Manager」. 3. Select 「Sound, video and game controllers」and check the Realtek audio device. (Hint) If there is no such audio device, please download and install latest driver from MSI official website.
The easiest way to do this is through Device Manager on Windows or via System Preferences in Mac OS X. Open up Device Manager and select “Sound, video, and game controllers” from the list of options. You should see all of your hardware devices here listed by type (e.g., sound card). If there is a yellow exclamation mark next to any device
