The P0137 code indicates there’s a fault with the second oxygen sensor located on Bank 1. The oxygen sensor’s voltage was too low for at least two minutes, which is why the code was set. The ECM is responsible for reading the voltage and setting the code. Bank 1 Sensor 2 is found towards the back of the catalytic converter.
O2 Sensor warning light. My code reader is showing fault codes P0036, P0037, and P0141 which relate to O2 Sensor No 2 (the one downstream from the Cat). Performance & MPG seem to be OK. The problem with aftermarket (cheap) lambda sensors is they are usually wired wrong, so you have the heater circuit (12v) going to the wrong part of the senor which basically destroys the sensors probe, this will then give you an open circuit fault on the heater circuit due to the lack of
